It is with a broken heart that I write this. My beautiful Lisette was laid to rest today - she had congestive heart failure. She was diagnosed early January 2010 after running tests in December trying to figure out why she was retaining fluids. We were totally bonded and I could accomplish things including trimming her front feet. She trusted me right to the end. Her incredible beauty both inside and out is one of a kind in the Lippitt world. There will never be another Lisette, she was priceless for that sweet face.
